after working as a tshirt printer a long time ago, i rarely feel that the price mark-up on a shirt after it has ink screen printed on it is reasonable. sometimes though i find things that i would actually spend some money on. i like these shirts a lot!!!!! check ’em out.
this is the new video from skrillex. it blows. i mean this skrillex fellow is trash. he is the reason you can find shirts that say “effin dubstep” and “rave” at Hot Topic. he is the reason my 13 year old cousin mentioned how cool music from Bristol UK is. from what i can tell skrillex came up with his name because it is a contraction of skittles and kleenex. how dare he blemish the reputation of two such wonderful products!! anyway this video is trash. it is directed by Tony Truand. i wanna give Tony T the benefit of the doubt though. I imagine Skrillex approached Truand and said something like this, “Yo, you have seen that totally sick viddy Chris Cunningham did for Aphex right? The one with the kids and the monster. Shit was sick! My babysitter let me watch it once cause i showed her where my mom’s stash was.I want to make something kinda like that but I can only pay you $12 to do it. That’s all Atlantic will pay me until my third record sells 1 mil copies.” i am only paraphrasing but im sure the conversation went a lot like that. this is the result.

sup cousins. ive been looking at some of my stuff at my folks’ house and finding some gems!! this is my name tag from when i ran the kitchen at Kenny’s Rogers’ Roasters. thats right 16 years old, and a head cook! this job was crazyyyyy! i dont remember who was first but almost all of my friends worked there: Grayson,Nick,Matt C.,Taylor, and maybe Stevan and Jon (i dont remember, we all hung out all the time so of course my memories from that time feature them all). we had crazy bosses, there was Pervert Boss, Speedfreak Boss, and then some Tiny Ginger with a Napoleon Complex-Boss. we served rotisserie chicken and were taught that you could tell a chicken was on the spit properly when you heard its ribs and spine crack! so much weird shit happened at that place. there were things i still laugh about (balls), and things im not proud of(also balls). we even almost had a west side story style knife battle in the parking lot. that is if you traded the dancing with cussing and macho crotch grabbing. it didnt happen though, thank god. there was a fight later but it was just fists and one kick! (Grayson for the win!) it was swell. no lie, my last day of work i got to the restaurant, parked and the entire building had been cleared out! there was no evidence the place had even existed. they didn’t tell anyone the place was going out of business. that day was just an empty building and one of the managers from corporate handing out everyone’s final paycheck. wow. those were different days.

so as many friends know i broke my ankle this past weekend. i am in charlotte with my parents because they wanted to take care of me and mainly because they dont have two flights of stairs to enter their house like i do in raleigh. anyway im sure it is no shock that I am bored. i am going to start keeping track of some of the things i do to kill my boredom. so here we go: i just made a spreadsheet!!!! It lists all of the ON DEMAND (from here on abbreviated as OD) channels, on my parents cable. isnt that exciting? i have been watching a lot of Showtime OD (762). i am already caught up on the past two seasons of Weeds, and all of the last season of Dexter. thanks to Nature & Knowledge OD (425) ive been getting my Pawn Stars fix, and with Entertainment OD (340) i discovered Wilfred is actually pretty funny. my only gripe?! where the hell is Boardwalk Empire? YOU ARE LETTING ME DOWN HBO OD (760)!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
tucker is getting a lot of buzz lately but what sets him apart from the rest of the buzz bands is his passion. also his process is full innocence even to the point of naivety. i think when a fellow fan referred to tucker as a canine Jandek, that they were not giving tucker’s conceptual approach to sound enough credit. anyway there is a new special on his home life. Im not sure if they had licensing issues with his music but it is odd how absent his music is in the special. check it out though and find out about tucker’s life.
