The other night I was playing with the #MFA department’s brand new Canon 6D. It is a pretty sweet camera. I shot inside, outside, and some video. I liked it. I have been doing a lot of “screen grabs” both on the computer and by taking photographs of things on screens/monitors. The above picture is from the opening sequence from F/X (1986) that is currently streaming on HBO GO. My memory of seeing this movie as a kid, and seeing it again now could not be any more different. It is actually a better film when your memory of it 20 years ago gives it the benefit of the doubt. I might even say that the dialogue free opening credits might have been the best part of the movie. I am still going to rewatch the sequal though.
