this is a pic of me installing a sculpture by tara donovan that consists of thousands of toothpicks at the North Carolina Museum of Art. when completed it looks like a magic cube of toothpicks. my pals at work and i are the magicians. check out these pics, from the installator tumblr, which showcases the world of museum installation life through art handlers and preps.  look around the site so you can see that art is not placed in galleries and museums overnight by art elves.
