3D Printed Grillz, pretty amazing


My pal and MFA colleague Erin sent this article my way. It is pretty fascinating. I have studied algorithmic music in the past and have always been fascinated with ways to transpose sound into something visual. Now that I am working with 3D printing I have been kicking around methods of composing for 3D prints. That is why this work from Roopa Vasudevan is right up my alley.  Roopa Vasudevan is an artist and a developer who has created 3D prints of grillz designed with data culled from actual hip hop songs.
