i first saw the littlebits toys when i was at one of the MoMa Design stores. they are fun tiny objects that snap together to create circuits. a battery to a variable resistor to a light; a dimming switch voila!  i remember seeing them and thinking they were very cool as well as educational. now they have partnered with korg to make what is basically a mini modular synth that i cannot wait to own! so cool.
